Kat (((O1O))) has twisted up a Christmas classic like an oscillator knob on her moog MG1 synthesizer. The haunting melody of “It’s Christmas Time” from “A Very Charlie Brown Christmas” has never sounded so saucey. Here it is for all to enjoy, and download just in time for your holiday mixtapes. I’m almost done with mine and I put it in between Run DMC’s-”Christmas in Hollis”, and Adam Sandler’s-”Chanukah Song pt.III”. Happy Holidays to all from us, and we’ll see you in 2009.

Long-time homies Thes One and Double K (better known as PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS) are celebrating 10 years of making fresh hip hop music together this year. Somewhere during that decade, their path crossed with Crown City’s and we’ve made some very memorable collaborations.

They will be ringing in their 10 year Anniversary on December 19th 2008 at the EL REY in Los Angeles California. And the 20th in Boulder Colorado at the Fox theater.

Their new highly acclaimed (and all around dope) album “FUN DMC” is in stores now. It features Kat O1O, and Headnodic playing bass and keys all over it. Their single “the Wiz” is the new Australian national anthem (…well it should be).  Kat O1O seems like she used the intro & outro of this song as an opportunity to pay tribute to Australia ’s own Sven Libaek (composer of some of the dopest film scores of underwater documentaries).  Their video captures the song perfectly.
